What requirements do you have when setting up a disco?

Our requirements are minimal, however there are a few essentials, the most important being listed first.

  • Power, ideally two wall sockets located in the area you wish us to setup your disco, one socket for lights, one for sound.
  • It is essential that you and the venue have prepared a 4-6 ft sturdy table ready for us to set up on at time of arrival.
  • We always adapt to any room space available, but as a bare minimum an area must be 8ft wide by roughly 6ft deep.

When is payment due?

At Boogie Beats we make paying for your disco a simple affair.  Once we have received your initial booking fee, the remaining balance is due for collection in cash on the day of your party. You are welcome to use any of the payment facilities online to pay off the balance in advance. Please note we not accept cheques. Full terms and conditions are available here.

What music do you play?

All experienced Boogie Beats DJs know that a great event plays upbeat, happy music for people of every age to enjoy. This encourages a great party atmosphere. We also have an online playlist management tool which you use to choose any music you do and do not wish to hear, which we can incorporate at your party.

The playlist manager has extended features such as, using a Wedding Disco as example, can allow you to easily select songs for specific guests (or particular moments), such as for the Bride or Groom, Father of the Bride, Best Man, Mother of the Bride, the First Dance, the Last Dance and much more including songs that you do not want played!
